Dr. Robert Rhey, Clinic Director, has been a licensed Chiropractor since 1996 and opened Gurnee Chiropractic and Physical Rehabilitation shortly after that.
Dr. Rhey uses a multidisciplinary physical medicine approach that includes Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, and Massage Therapy with special interests in sports medicine and pediatric care. Dr. Rhey also utilizes a functional medicine approach in the treatment of his patients to not just treat disease, like the traditional western medicine approach, but to support the pathways of the body that prevent disease and allow the body to function at its very best. This includes functional blood work analysis and food allergy testing to help support the treatments for dysglycemia, obesity, thyroid disorders, hormonal imbalances, food allergies and sensitivities, and blood lipid and cardiovascular problems. Special interests include nutrition, adult and child food allergy treatment, and female thyroid disorders.
